Does the oven need to be preheated before use?

Every type of oven should bepreheated before its first use. The heat removes chemicals, residue, and odors from the oven coating. 

How to preheat the oven:

Set the oven to its maximum temperature of 300-400°C for approximately 20-30 minutes. Wait until the oven stops smoking, then allow it to cool completely. It is then ready to use. If any odor remains, repeat the process two or three times.
